I’m almost finished with my associates in Paralegal Studies at Miami-Dade College and I want to complete my BA, is this a good school? I’m real interested because their ABA approved but, I heard they’re no good. Is this true? I hope not….please help! BTW I don’t plan to attend online, I want to attend actual class sessions. Thanks!

This program is ABA approved. I will take the 4 required classed at Mississippi College which is also ABA approved. My attraction to South is that I can finish faster because of the 5.5 week format. It is expensive. Is it worth it, or will employers frown at it because it does not have the prestige of some other programs? Is the fact that it is ABA approved enough?
I have over 10 years of experience in a Law Firm, 7 as a legal assistant. I just need the paper to back up my experience and to help me get interviews as I will move a lot as a military spouse. I estimate that the course will cost 20k. IT IS ABA APPROVED AND REGIONALLY ACCREDITED. I just want to be sure that ABA approval is enough and that most employers will not care that it is a not so well know university.
In response to some of the post. What should I do if South is a bad idea? I have been working as a legal assistant/paralegal forever. I would make far less if I changed careers. I am not just looking at this as an opportunity to work in law firms, most in house legal positions want an ABA Approved certificate.

I already know it’s accredited and I want to find out more about the school. I am interested in taking the online program for a B.S. in paralegal studies and I want to find out how the online classes are and whether or not it’s a good school. I only want to read opinions of students who are currently enrolled or have completed a program with the university.

Another excellent nursing program can be found at John Hopkins University. In the heart of Baltimore, Maryland, John Hopkins has a program that consists on degrees ranging from a BSN to doctoral degrees in Nursing Philosophy and Nursing Practice. John Hopkins also offers post doctoral degrees and continuing education courses.

Located in Charlottesville, Virginia, the University of Virginia is another nursing school that is among the best in the nation. The University of Virginia has a robust nursing school with many of the degree programs mentioned. This school also offers direct entry MSN programs for individuals with a bachelor’s degree in another disciple, as well as joint degree programs.

The college of Nursing at the University of Iowa is our final traditional Nursing program on the list of excellence. Similar to the schools mentioned above, the University of Iowa has a well rounded list of degree programs. However, this nursing school also boasts certificate and dual degree programs. Consistently being ranked among the top nursing schools in the county, the University of Iowa also provides great resources for all nursing students.

Unfortunately, not all of us live in proximity to a great nursing school and those who do may find attending traditional programs to be a challenge when working in a job and caring for a family. For those individuals, there is a list of the top five online nursing schools, as well.

This program offers many programs including ones for a licensed practicing nurse as well as a BSN program and registered nurse programs. Grand Canyon University is the next online program on the list, and they also have an impressive list of degree programs. The South University is the final online program on our list and they offer a registered nurse to BSN degree and a MSN degree as well. Although, this program does not currently offer the variety of degree as some of the others, they do offer financial aid and scholarships. This program is available worldwide and accredited with an enrollment period that occurs eight terms each year.

There are a great nursing programs all over the country, but be sure to do your home work and choose the right nursing school for you, whether it is at a university or through an online program.
